As an additional attraction within the airport and with the aim that travellers can live a different experience while they wait for their flight or are in transit. A first cultural corridor of its kind within an airport at the national level was created, made up of 3 spaces with a high historical load.
During the construction stages of AIFA, more than thousand bones remain were discovered and recovered, mainly corresponding to the mammoth species. It was decided to build this museum with the support of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH).
An ideal place for aviation lovers to learn more about the history of the Mexican Air Force. Through different audiovisual resources and 12 exhibition galleries, as well as 4 temporary exhibitions, visitors will be able to see up close more than 50 aircraft up close, including those that were used for the first flights in the country.
An important part of the transport history used by the Secretary of National Defence (SEDENA) has been the train. Due to this, 3 wagons of the last century were rebuilt. Visitors can take advantage of reading places, cafeteria and even a meeting room.
