GIANTS

Mammoth Museum

After the discovery and recovery of more than a thousand bone remains during the construction stages of the AIFA, and the majority corresponding to the mammoth species, it was decided to build this museum with the support of the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH).

Land of Giants “Quinamétzin” is an interactive museum with 6 permanent exhibition rooms, a temporary one, a thematic garden, and a digital room. During the tour, visitors could see remains not only of mammoths but also of camels, American horses, saber-toothed tigers, sloths, among other animals, which are between 10,000 and 25,000 years old.

Additionally, next to the Museum there is a Research Center and a warehouse where each paleontological remain has been duly classified.
